Elantas PDG, Inc., a global specialty chemical manufacturer and a member of the ALTANA Group, has announced it has been chosen as one of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Top Workplaces in the midsize company category for the third year in a row. The ranking is based solely on an employee survey with a series of questions about EPDG, including its leadership, career opportunities, training, compensation and benefits.

Community involvement is also a major part of the Top Workplaces survey. EPDG runs a campaign of donations for a different local charity every month. Each charity chosen must also have employee involvement to be included in the rotation of charities that EPDG supports, which was highlighted in the survey.

Last year, EPDG celebrated its 95th anniversary, making it one of the long-time manufacturing companies in the city.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch recognized 100 companies this year, with more than 40,000 surveys completed by employees from 164 companies. The Top Workplaces employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
